MSI Ethiopia is committed to enhancing the employability and skills of its women team members and dedicated to fostering female leadership within our organization and community. The Women in Leadership (WIL) training program aims to empower women by enhancing their leadership skills, increasing their confidence, and preparing them for leadership roles in various sectors.
Purpose
The purpose of this ToR is to identify and engage a professional trainer with expertise in leadership development to facilitate WIL training for about 50 aspiring women leaders. The trainer will provide the necessary skills and strategies to help participants navigate leadership challenges effectively and support to ensure effective leadership experiences.
Objectives
1. To equip participants with essential leadership skills, including decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution for effective workplace integration.
2. To enhance self-awareness and emotional intelligence among participants.
3. To provide insights into overcoming gender-specific challenges in leadership roles.
4. To create networking opportunities among participants and established women leaders.
5. To evaluate training effectiveness and provide actionable feedback.
6. To promote best practices in WIL and enhance collaboration between organizations
Scope of Work
The trainer will:
· Design and deliver a comprehensive WIL training program tailored to the specific needs of the organization.
· Provide engaging training materials and resources for interactive learning.
· Evaluate participant progress through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
· Facilitate post-training support, including access to online resources or networking platforms, if applicable.
Target Audience
- The training targets MSIE Female staff
Evaluation Criteria Responses to the ToR will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
· Relevant qualifications and experience (40%)
· Proposed training methodology and curriculum (40%)
· Budget proposal (10%)
· References or testimonials from previous clients (10%)
Reporting and Accountability
The trainer will report directly to CD/PCD. A final report summarizing training outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future training will be required within two weeks after training completion.

About You
The ideal trainer will have:
· A minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership training or development, specifically focused on women in leadership.
· Proven expertise in adult education and group facilitation.
· Strong understanding of gender dynamics in leadership roles.
· Excellent communication and motivational skills.
· A firm or individuals with proven evidence in leadership training, coaching and mentorship is preferable.
